摘要: Abstract The tidal river management (TRM) approach is an indigenous practice in the Southwest part of Ganges-Brahmaputra delta Bangladesh. This has a high potential for extending area under agriculture with positive impact on sustainable production and consequently land use planning. Until recently, no studies provide quantitative assessment agricultural benefits TRM operation. In this study, we aim to assess operation by using innovative approaches such as comparing change, economic cost-benefit analysis two scenarios (with without TRM) Hari-Teka-Bhadra catchment. We found that financial benefit was 85.5 million US dollar per year from sector. results are useful promoting policy through achieving greater sustainability area.
