摘要: Sputum cell-counts were studied in 7 non-smokers with corticosteroid-responsive chronic cough productive of sputum and 8 smokers a clinical diagnosis bronchitis, all whom had normal lung function tests methacholine airway responsiveness, 10 asthma, examined during an exacerbation. from asthmatic patients subjects contained eosinophils metachromatic cells. Macrophages by far the dominant cell type bronchitis. Airway inflammation cells is not always accompanied increased current definitions obstructive airways disease may need to be revised.
