摘要: The results of an experimental and numerical investigation involving unstrengthened reinforced concrete (RC) T-beams precracked RC strengthened in shear with prestressed carbon fiber-reinforced polymer (CFRP) straps are presented discussed. provide insights into the influence load history beam depth on structural behavior both beams. beams exhibited capacity enhancements 21.6 to 46% compared equivalent beams, demonstrating potential effectiveness CFRP strap system. Nonlinear finite element (FE) predictions, which incorporated history, reproduced observed but either underestimated or overestimated post-cracking stiffness strain at higher levels. These limitations were attributed models used FE analyses.
