摘要: Abstract In this study, the effects of selected parameters i.e. building height, number bays, ratio area shear walls to floor, infilled panels total and type frame on fundamental period RC buildings were investigated. general, frames are determined by a modal analysis, discarding effect infill mass rigidity structure. 189 models with generated analyzed in 3D using finite element method. Due nonlinear behavior walls, an iterative analysis was used determine models. It found that had shorter period, about 5%–10%, compared without regardless whether they or not. The presence also led reduction 6%–10%, between walls. periods obtained current code predictions, which based measurements taken during earthquakes real buildings. seen equations under-predict from 2% 47%, depending upon model parameters. A new equation, function parameters, proposed for predicting buildings, results study multiple linear regression analysis. equation gives better estimate periods, equations.
