摘要: Durability of concrete structures is one the most significant problems currently facing engineering community. The use High Performance Fiber Reinforced Cementitious Composites (HPFRCC) may greatly enhance durability and long term performance structures. However, prior to designing HPFRCC materials into practical applications, their must be shown equal or superior over durations in service environments. In this article, behavior under various environmental loads a class called Engineered (ECC) summarized. This material have exceptional freeze-thaw cycles, hot-cold temperature carbonation exposure, fatigue loading, mechanical performance. Additionally, results are presented an ongoing two year comparison between ECC roadway patching applications on Michigan Department Transportation bridge deck.
