摘要: [1] Understanding intermediate water circulation across the last deglacial is critical in assessing role of oceanic heat transport associated with Atlantic Meridional Overturning Circulation variability abrupt climate events. However, links between and events such as Younger Dryas (YD) Heinrich Event 1 (H1) are still poorly constrained. Here, we reconstruct changes Antarctic Intermediate Water (AAIW) subtropical North over past 25 kyr by measuring authigenic neodymium isotope ratios sediments from two sites Florida Straits. Our Nd records suggest that there was little to no penetration AAIW into during YD H1. Variations northward Straits documented our record synchronous multiple climatic archives, including Greenland ice core δ18O record, Cariaco Basin atmosphere Δ14C reconstruction, Bermuda Rise sedimentary Pa/Th nutrient stable data tropical Atlantic. The synchroneity archives suggests a tight connection high-latitude change.
