Non-bleeding chewable tablets having high lipid content

摘要: A process for making non-bleeding, breakage resistant, chewable tablets, having a high content of lipid or lipid-like compounds, is disclosed. These tablets are particularly useful in formulating oral dosage forms vitamins pharmaceutical agents. In the claimed process, lipid, itself, freeze-dried powder made from emulsion mixed with specially selected, highly absorbent bulking- binding agent to form dry free-flowing powder. This then compressed at relatively low pressure tablets. Tablets by this also disclosed and herein.
