摘要: Abstract Palestine has been encountering a serious problem represented in continuing and unfair depletion of its natural resources especially water energy. The causes such are attributed to many sources including some Palestinian industries which adversely contribute the shortages these consequently result negative environmental impacts. Among beverages bottling their packaging materials working Palestine. This study aims at evaluating comparing potential impacts glass, aluminum (Al), polyethylene terephthalate (PET) certain sizes using life cycle assessment (LCA) methodology based on International Standardization Organization (ISO) standards. More specifically, LCA is conducted 300 ml glass bottles, 330 ml Al-cans, 2000 ml PET bottles produced, consumed disposed West Bank Based inventory analysis data obtained from local sources, seven significant weighted impact categories, accordance with Impact 2002+ method, considered conducting assessment. Such categories include consumption, non-renewable energy, solid waste, human toxicity, terrestrial acidification, global warming respiratory effects. comparative reveals that, context, have least impact, while Al cans come second after whereas found highest impact. In addition, as revealed by results sensitivity analysis, resulted could be significantly reduced via increasing respective recycling rates three investigated materials.
