摘要: A catheter guide wire includes a strip of material formed into an elongate coil, with central hollow having plurality windings. The windings include inhibiting features to inhibit relative rotation adjacent core is inserted through the coil and welded some keep them from separating longitudinally. This construction allows for lateral flexibility wire, but desired torsional stiffness.
