摘要: In this work the effectiveness of two saline solutions (NaCl and Na2SO4) to clean a permanently hydrophilic polyethersulfone (PESH) ultrafiltration (UF) membrane with molecular weight cut-off (MWCO) 30 kDa previously fouled enzymatic was investigated. The influence protein concentration in solution during fouling step effect salt type cleaning procedure were studied. The aggregation analyzed onto surface by using several techniques including Dynamic Light Scattering (DLS), Atomic Force Microscopy (AFM) Infrared Spectroscopy Attenuated Total Reflectance (ATR-FTIR). addition, mechanisms that dominate studied fitting some mathematical models (Hermia׳s adapted crossflow filtration, combined model based on complete blocking cake formation equations resistance-in-series model) experimental data. Fouling results showed blocking/adsorption predominant mechanism. Regarding results, higher efficiency low residual obtained NaCl for all feed tested due favorable interaction between Cl− proteins.
