Simple renormalization-group and mean-field methods for Z(N) spin models

摘要: We show that in contrast to simple block-spin methods, a previously discussed Hamiltonian variational approach indicates the existence of two phase transitions for vector Potts spin model $Z(N)$ 1 + dimensions and $N\ensuremath{\gtrsim}5$.
