摘要: We present the time-resolved phosphorescence of oxytocin, two oxytocin derivatives, vasopressin and a series compounds that serve as models for free tyrosine. One desaminodicarbaoxytocin, has disulfide bridge replaced by an ethylene bridge, lacks N-terminus. Similar to reported fluorescence decays tyrosine in these peptides, generally are not single exponentials, but can be fit biexponentials. The decay times peptides shorter than desaminodicarbaoxytocin or model compounds, this we attribute enhanced spin-orbit coupling due presence sulfur. measured cyclic pentapeptide contains compared it observed same which is tryptophan. also report 2-tryptophan-oxytocin, deamino-2-tryptophan-oxytocin biexponential observed.
