摘要: We report on high reflectivity CLC structures (R > 50%) whose wavelength can be thermally tuned reversibly by a de-swelling/re-swelling transition unique to ordered solvent-gel systems. The system contains no chiral dopant and the coloration is completely induced responsive structured gel. de-swelling transition, leading blue tuning, occurs at nematic-isotropic of liquid crystal, which result mismatch in orientational energy isotropic crystal anisotropic re-swelling subsequently gel, due miscibility induces red-shift coloration. Examination varying clearing point solvents, contact angle measurements, white light optical profilometry localized thickness measurements shed this transition. A dynamic, cell was demonstrated combining both left-handed gel with right handed initial periodicities were equal. Heating so-called hyper-reflective drove reversible large scale changes (100's nm) while maintaining ∼ 90%).
