摘要: Abstract Carbon and nitrogen stable isotope analyses were conducted on Neolithic Yuan-Shan faunal bone collagen to reconstruct a site-specific dietary baseline, evaluate the contribution of potential food resources diet people. The mean δ 13 C 15 N values terrestrial mammals − 17.7 ± 3.6‰ 5.4 ± 1.3‰, respectively. freshwater fish − 20.8 ± 2.2‰ 7.7 ± 2.0‰; while marine had highest (− 11.8 ± 1.2‰) (12.1 ± 1.7‰). Combined with archeological evidence previous isotopic data derived from human collagen, we suggest that subsistence strategies people broad. They relied rice cultivation, hunting, fishing gathering wild; in addition, they probably raise pigs, as early 4200 yr BP. Although broad-spectrum resources, foods mainly consumed herbivores based result multi-source mixing model. Besides, fish, shellfish, 3 plants also contributed substantially their diet. By comparison, 4 was minor.
