摘要: In this chapter Digan examines the different concepts of ‘space and place’ how they relate to sites memory. She makes a distinction between space (‘Raum’) as social concept place (‘Ort’) measurable, tangible unit. thesocial interpretation space, which assumes that is shaped kept in existence by actors interacting with one another. then measurable entity can change meaning (and have meanings) whole. To do so she uses theories from field semiotics examine depends on conventions. both these analyses, crucial question ‘social’ ‘physical’ come together.
