摘要: The risk and time preferences of individuals as well their subjective expectations regarding the future are likely to play an important role in choice behaviour. Measurement these individual characteristics large-scale surveys has been a recent development empirical evidence on associations with behaviour remains limited. We summarize results measuring individuals’ attitudes towards inter-temporal choice, risk, field survey Kenya. find very low rates inconsistency interpreting questions preferences. Cash transfers alone do not appear impact discounting or aversion, but they have well-being measures perceptions quality life.
