摘要: In cirrhosis of the liver accumulation fluid in peritoneal cavity is generally associated with a high degree portal obstruction. This has been demonstrated repeatedly, but most convincing manner by McIndoe.1However, clinical observations suggest that other factors play important parts. The spontaneous variation amount fluid, diminution ascites following administration diuretics and changes subsequent to an alcoholic bout or attack dysentery are difficult explain on basis obstruction alone. Dependent edema varying frequently observed patients these explained increased intraabdominal pressure, causing venous return from legs, as manifestation cardiac failure. There many concerning whom explanations inadequate. Edema
