The presence conjunctival and facial/periorbital petechial hemorrhages correlates increasing levels body support below point ligature suspension. Hyoid bone and/or thyroid cartilage fractures (found 26% cases) are most frequently identified those persons found completely suspended victims older age ranges. No hyoid bone/thyroid fractures, internal soft tissue injury, or petechiae were present 13 (21%) cases.
