摘要: A series of silica xerogels that support Rhodamine B as a template were synthesized using distinct sol-gel routes, namely, acid-catalyzed base-catalyzed route, with (two steps) hydrolytic and FeCl3 -catalyzed nonhydrolytic route. The extraction methods (thermal, Soxhlet, water washing, ultrasound) also evaluated. resulting characterized through porosimetry nitrogen adsorption/desorption. samples further analyzed small-angle X-ray scattering, Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy, SEM. preparation route affected the materials' textural properties. Extraction was optimized acid two-step routes. from to 6G generated highest selectivity factor (2.5). produced best imprinting factor. Competitive adsorption used, which approximate 2. cavity shape during production imprinted dictates behavior, not magnitude surface area.
