摘要: Abstract We explore the influence of effective-mass modulation on beam dynamics in one- and two-dimensional generalized linear nonlinear Schrodinger equations with parity-time ( PT ) symmetric periodic potentials. In regime, we successively give first second threshold curves optical lattices under different effective masses, analyze associated band structure diffraction beams. Kerr-nonlinear a family novel solitons can exist semi-infinite gap. As parameter grows, existing range these gradually increases whereas their stable domain diminishes. Two-dimensional (2D) stability analysis reveals that larger parameter, gain-and-loss amplitude, propagation constant may more easily lead to instable solitons. The 1D 2D transverse power flows are also examined. Our results open new design window for optics mass -symmetric other related fields.
