摘要: Linear polyether polyol (PEP) consisting of glycidol as repeating units is a flexible hydrophilic aliphatic polymer. The main chain similar to the widely used, biocompatible polymer poly(ethylene glycol) (PEG). While linear PEG has one or two terminal hydroxyl group(s), PEP distinguishes itself by large number pendant groups along chain. We propose that this property represents major advantage over PEG, namely, providing multiple anchorage points and increasing possibility for introducing different functional groups. As first step establishing bioconjugation material, we modified on prepared series mono- heterobifunctional derivatives with potential join various drug entities biomolecules. synthesis methods results characterization are reported here.
