摘要: This paper discusses the idea of an outward movement traffic restraint, from historic town centres Central Europe to urban peripheries, and then periphery Europe. question raises much broader issues about growth generally, kind cities that we wish live in. A considerable number European responded survey on these issues, sent out as part preparation for Car-Free Cities Conference in Amsterdam March 1994. Examples are given how extend aspects car restraint areas outside central business district.
