摘要: We report an ab-initio study of a pump-probe experiment on the amino-acid glycine. consider UV pump followed by X-ray probe tuned to carbon K-edge and vibronic structure core transition. The simulated is feasible using existing free electron laser or high harmonic generation sources thanks localization orbitals posseses chemical selectivity. present theory applies other experimental schemes, including use THz probe, available with soft lasers and/or sources.
