摘要: PREFACE: Since the 1980’s, Rip has been instrumental in developing and applying an approach to broaden scope of participants considerations that go into technological developments is known as Constructive Technology Assessment (CTA). A number organizations have employed CTA, including Rathenau Institute (formerly, Netherlands Office Assessment). 2005, Dutch national nanotechnology consortium, NanoNed, under Rip’s coordination included CTA a program component. In this chapter, Te Kulve suggest because many applications remain little more than promises, studying their implications amounts exercise “social science fiction.” To address challenge, they employ socio-technical scenarios. Scenarios are well-established foresight method gaining wide use study (Turk, Chapter 8; Kosal, 12). Here, Kulve, interested linking theory practice thus describe two scenario construction frameworks take account complex often overlooked dynamics. scenarios can accordingly serve “useful fictions” for strategic purposes well modulating ongoing change.
