摘要: Purpose of review Pituitary tumors account for approximately 17% all intracranial neoplasms, with the majority being pituitary adenomas. Often, these are found incidentally during a workup headache; however, relationship between symptom and pathology remains unclear. The purpose this article is to most recent literature on epidemiology, pathophysiology, management headaches in patients tumors. Recent findings current limited, few prospective trials focusing question. With exception apoplexy, masses Intervention does not always improve headache can lead development new syndromes. Further research needed better elucidate headaches. Headache alone rarely an indication surgical adenoma.
