摘要: Some methodological adaptationists (perhaps unconsciously) hijacked the term “exaptation,” and took an occasion of Stephen Jay Gould’s misspeaking as confirmation that it possessed evolutionarily “designed” function was a version adaptation, something decidedly not. Others provided standard evidence for exaptation inappropriate, based on adaptationist worldview. This article is intended to serve both analysis correction those situations. Gould Elisabeth Vrba’s terms, “exaptation” “aptation,” originally introduced, are very useful, unlike faded echo devised by adaptationists, which has made incoherent. We will discuss how relates function, aptation, primary secondary. These ideas have been rendered practically useless through their mistaken definitions misapplications evolutionary psychologists.
