摘要: Infrared-operated cameras have been used in wildlife studies for over two decades. Since their inception the technology has changed considerably and they are now commonly seen as an inexpensive, efficient non-invasive method of data collection. Camera use ecological field is rapidly increasing worldwide to help address important species conservation management objectives. However, given that digital can automatically record large numbers photographs, rather than collection, quickly become rate-limiting step studies. For example, photos must be downloaded interpreted before analyses conducted. All this time-consuming takes away time from research analysis, essentially requiring a part- or full-time technician manage process camera data. There few attempts develop photo-classification database programs aid interpretation storage photographs cameras. Databases exist designed primarily biodiversity monitoring occupancy analysis.
