摘要: Through application of multi-level structural equation modeling as the data analysis technique, purpose this paper is to analyze group-level impacts on a couple’s food choices during travel at coastal destination.,Researchers obtained 380 individual questionnaires from 190 mixed gender couples (who eat oysters) in Charleston and Beaufort County, South Carolina, USA. Data were collected both members couple their vacation. Due missing normality issues 5 30 individuals eliminated. The remaining analyzed with SPSS 21 EQS 6.2 advanced confirmatory factor (ML) regression techniques.,The study results indicated that while women have more negative attitude than men toward oysters, intention oysters vacation not different partner. By detecting interdependency responses within couple, revealed ML approach powerful way understand decision-making process couples. Additionally difference single- models showed latter lowers chance Type 2 error provides accurate results.,In tourism literature, focus has been mostly despite collectivistic nature activity. current first group level.
