5D Yang-Mills instantons from Aharony-Bergman-Jafferis-Maldacena monopoles

摘要: In the presence of a background supergravity flux, N M2-branes will expand via Myers effect into M5-branes wrapped on fuzzy three-sphere. previous work fluctuations were shown to be described by five-dimensional Yang-Mills gauge theory associated D4-branes. We show that ABJM prescription for eleven-dimensional momentum in terms magnetic flux lifts an instanton effective sphere, giving M-theory interpretation these instantons.
