摘要: Background: Prior studies suggest that exercise may prevent movement disorders in Parkinson’s disease (PD) patients. In this meta-analysis, the pooled effect of on PD-induced tremor was investigated. Method: Relevant published (n = 7) were retrieved by searching major databases, including Scopus, Web Science and PubMed from 1985 to November 2020. Studies eligible if studied sufficient information for calculating size reported. Furthermore, non-English manuscripts related non-human species excluded. The quality evaluated using improved Newcastle-Ottawa scale (NOS). study, variables such as participant’s age gender, type exercise, intervention duration indices extracted each study. Between-study heterogeneity publication bias calculated I2 statistic funnel plot, respectively. Results: Results showed hand cycling exercises effective reducing amplitude or frequency. When all types (upper, lower whole-body movement) considered, an odds ratio (OR) greater than 1 obtained (log(OR) 2, 95% CI: 0.88–3.12), while between-study high (I2 78%). By restricting hand-movement exercises, a 1, 0.24–1.77) with small 0.0%, p 0.502) obtained. Statistical analysis based Egger’s Begg’s tests revealed no significant bias. Conclusions: Outcomes study suggested inexpensive, non-invasive easy-to-implement strategies could be applied PD patients alongside medical interventions tremors. Clinical Highlights Exercises reduce tremors significantly. Hand are beneficial
