摘要: Here, we investigate the directional control of Galinstan liquid metal droplets when transferring from high-viscosity glycerol core into parallel low-viscosity NaOH sheath streams within a flow focusing microfluidic system. In presence sufficient mismatch between streams, are driven toward higher velocity interface and cross under influence surface tension gradient. A minimum 125 μl/min is required to enable continuous transfer desired stream. The response time droplets, change direction droplet transfer, governed by syringe pump system found be 3.3 8.8 s increasing decreasing rate stream, respectively.
