摘要: This paper presents the Event and Implied Situation Ontology (ESO), a manually constructed resource which formalizes pre post situations of events roles entities affected by an event. The ontology is built on top existing resources such as WordNet, SUMO FrameNet. injected to Predicate Matrix, that integrates predicate role information from amongst others FrameNet, VerbNet, PropBank, NomBank WordNet. We illustrate how these are used large document collections detect otherwise would have remained implicit. evaluated two aspects: recall precision based annotated corpus secondly, quality knowledge inferred situation assertions in ontology. Evaluation results system show 50% typed enriched with ESO correct.
