Trading firms and the internationalization of the mould cluster of Marinha Grande

摘要: The role played by trading firms in the internationalization process of mold makers located within Marinha Grande cluster (Portugal) is a controversial issue. Besides finding foreign customers some traders provide full service to customers, from product development injection and assembly plastic parts. These add value making build long-term relations with contributing clusters’ internationalization. Other are accused opportunistic behavior both as regards their local producers harming cluster’s international reputation. This paper aims contribute this on-going debate presenting study three they have established makers.
