摘要: While research projects have been conducted to examine the impacts and effectiveness of China's ecological restoration programs, few them represent integrated, systematic efforts. The objective this chapter is thus articulate outline a methodology for an integrative assessment, which, we believe, should embrace both environmental socioeconomic changes engage investigations at multiple scales. Further, these be pursued through interdisciplinary collaboration with expertise from ecology, economics, hydrology, geospatial, climate, land change sciences. We argue that deployment geospatial capability, use longitudinal data, connection between science policy hallmarks assessment. also describe our general approach specific models quantify induced by implementing address issue how overcome challenges in generating data needed executing various empirical tasks. hope adoption application will make valuable contribution more robust timely assessment as well implementation programs outside China.
