Fast oscillatory behavior of the excited xenon density in the discharge cells of a plasma display panel

摘要: Fast oscillation of the excited xenon density occurs universally after an electrical discharge in cells a plasma display panel. A theoretical model based on ion simulates this oscillatory behavior reasonably well. The magnitude and lifetime metastable state depend highly electrode configuration. Particularly, T-type electrodes provide better generation confinement atoms for abundant emission 173 nm ultraviolet light at high level efficiency.
