摘要: On 5 February 1986 a humpback whale was photographed near Isla Clarion, in the Revillagigedo Archipelago, Mexico, and again 51 days later island of Kauai Hawaiian Archipelago. The straight-line distance between two sightings is approximately 4700km. This resighting constitutes only known instance which same has been documented discretely different breeding areas within season. finding reinforces conclusion from other studies that aggregation Archipelago separate sub-population mainland Mexico
