摘要: Abstract Experimental studies on the problem of crack identification can be simplified and enhanced through concept structural similarity since behaviors a full-scale structure investigated using reduced-scale model. The rectangular cross-section beam with through-thickness edge elastically supported was investigated. subjected to concentrated forces perpendicular its longitudinal axis bending moments. Complete conditions scaling laws for static deflection slope cracked were derived principle conservation energy strain release rate approach within framework linear elastic fracture mechanics. Accuracy complete experimentally numerically verified. incorporating theory problems health monitoring explained.
