摘要: The purpose of this exploratory study was to compare three experts and novices in a Web-based problem solving context. task search evaluate Web sources for writing research paper on topic (inquiry based instruction, or IBI) that unfamiliar the users. following questions guided study: (1) What type navigational strategies do employ information Web?; (2) are novices' experts' attitudes feelings during search?; (3) metacognitive use search? Lessons learned from studying novice expert users have significant instructional implications educators designers. Study emphasized searching is complex phenomenon requires developing Personal Information Structure. An appendix presents list categories scores all experts; sites shared among some participants missed by other participants.
