摘要: Abstract The differential equations governing out-of-plane free vibrations of the elastic, horizontally curved beams with variable curvature are derived and solved numerically to obtain natural frequencies mode shapes for parabolic, sinusoidal elliptic hinged–hinged, hinged–clamped, clamped–clamped end constraints, in which effects rotatory torsional inertias shear deformation included. Experimental measures several laboratory-scale parabolic models serve validate theoretical results.
