Doping-dependent ion selectivity of polyaniline membranes

摘要: Abstract Polyaniline (PAN) films were cast from a solution in N -methyl-2-pyrrolidone (NMP) and characterised by atomic force microscopy (AFM), FTIR, X-ray, TGA DSC. Ion selectivity of the as free-standing membranes electrolyte/membrane/electrolyte system was transmembrane electric potential. It demonstrated that PAN membrane has completely different permeability ion undoped HCl-doped states. In state, is hardly permeable to inorganic ions, but still it selective H + . After HCl-doping resistance decreases few orders value, becomes anion/H -selective.
