摘要: The present investigation deals with the effect of Al2O3 particle reinforcement on lubricated sliding behavior ZA-27 alloy. composites 3, 5, and 10 wt% particles were produced by compocasting procedure. Tribological properties alloy studied, using block-on-disk tribometer at different specific loads speeds. test results revealed that composite specimens exhibited significantly lower wear rate, but higher coefficient friction than matrix in all combinations applied improved antiwear characteristics influenced positive effects frictional heating compatibility phases suppressing micro-cracking tendency. Due to that, reinforcing hard manifested through reduced rate composites, especially conditions load, speeds content. In tests, significant forming mechanically mixed layers was not noticed, what is confirmed SEM microphotographs.
