摘要: For over thirty years adaptive beamforming (AB) algorithms have been applied in RADAR and SONAR signal processing. Higher resolution contrast is attainable using those at the price of an increased computational load. In this paper we consider four beamformers (BFs): Frost BF, Duvall SSB, SPOC. These are well know RADAR/SONAR literature. We performed a series simulations ultrasound data to test performance compare them conventional, independent, beamforming. Every algorithm was on single channel ultrasonic that generated Field II. 32 element linear array operating 5 MHz, beamplot results show while SSB reduce sidelobes by roughly 20 dB, rise 23dB. The -6dB improved 38%, 83%, 43% case Duvall, Frost, algorithms, respectively. SPOC, shows super-resolution peak with noise floor -110 dB. Similar were obtained for consisting 64 elements.
