Angular correlation distribution of electron-positron annihilation in graphite

摘要: Using the empirical pseudopotential method for electron wavefunction and variational positron wavefunction, authors have calculated one- two-dimensional angular correlation distribution of electron-positron annihilation (ACAR) as well momentum (EMD) graphite. The ACAR its anisotropy are in good agreement with experiments. Due to presence positron, shows stronger than corresponding EMD, which is experimental data. It shown that layer structure graphite more clearly exhibited by EMD. remaining discrepancy between presently spectra discussed it argued originates from quality single-crystal sample used experiments many-body interaction has not been included their theoretical treatment.
