摘要: Drawing on a case study in Germany, this contribution explores the practical application of offshore aquaculture within wind farms view different stakeholders involved. Using transdisciplinary research approach, an understanding rationalities and interests among involved stakeholder groups was explored. Offshore energy is high political agenda Germany. The vast spatial requirements however inherit potential user conflicts with competing, under current legislation excluded users such as fishermen. Solutions for combining sustainable uses same ocean space have thus seen increasing interest community Germany Europe over past years. This paper inspired by presents outcomes analysis particular workshop. Central focus placed academics private well public engaged efforts German North Sea. identifies overall acceptance multi-use scenario society, opportunities constraints perceived stakeholders, key gaps. results confirm assumption that there clear need, also willingness behalf policy makers community, to find sustainable, resource- space-efficient solutions combined use.
