Esquisse de typologie des noms d'affect à partir de leurs propriétés combinatoires

摘要: This study attempts to outline a typology of "affect nouns" according their semantic and syntactic features. We have worked from the assumption that dimensions can be highlighted through lexical-syntactic combination. After taking stock linguistic contexts for 40 most frequent French affect nouns in corpus analysis (using Frontext database), we considered set light cooccurrences: actantial structure, aspect (punctual vs. durative, phases), external physical manifestation, control, causation, verbalisation. Thanks combinatorial method, it has been possible distinguish six classes nouns, primarily based on punctual durative control features, secondarily manifestation While some characteristics, such as causation phases, shown little discriminative power, other parameters - polarity, intensity, axiological dimension had assumed irrelevant, finally proved essential.
