Photonic band structures of two-dimensional magnetized plasma photonic crystals

摘要: By using modified plane wave method, photonic band structures of the transverse electric polarization for two types two-dimensional magnetized plasma crystals are obtained, and influences external magnetic field, density, dielectric materials on dispersion curves studied, respectively. Results show that areas flat bands appear in due to role higher frequencies up down corresponding right-circled left-circled cutoff frequencies, Adjusting field density can not only control positions bands, but also location width local gap; increasing relative constant makes omni-direction gaps appear.
