摘要: The problem of electromagnetic scattering from and transmission through an arbitrarily shaped aperture is considered. in a thick infinite perfectly conducting ground plane. walls the cavity inside plane are arbitrary shape. apertures at both ends also structure illuminated by incident wave. Green’s function for this complicated almost impossible to determine. Therefore surface equivalence principle used reduce complex into three simpler ones. Each such consists equivalent currents radiating unbounded media. free space each problem. An magnetic current placed on top produces scattered field region where impressed sources are. total produced two electric residing as well apertures. transmitted opposite side computed bottom aperture. Enforcing boundary conditions tangential components fields results set coupled integral equations currents. Whenever possible, image theory simplify equations. These numerically solved using method moments. surfaces approximated planar triangular patches. RWG functions expansion functions. approximate Galerkin testing. applicable general case all regions have different material parameters. Results these parameters same. sized cavities. However due limited computing resources, only problems resonance region, dimensions comparable wavelength, considered here. Computed given square connected prism, cross prism cavity, circular cylindrical finally conical cavity. Our compared with literature obtained other methods. Very good agreement observed.
