摘要: Peripheral blood and bone marrow specimens from 6 patients with Ph1-positive CML were evaluated for their content of erythropoietic granulopoietic colony-forming progenitor cells. Specimens obtained untreated showed marked increases in all compartments the most dramatic which CFU-E circulating CFU-C. This increased cell flow down early stages red pathway suggests that heightened proliferation differentiation primitive hemopoietic cells may be a more general phenomenon than previously suspected this disease. In 5 patients, abnormal erythroid progenitors capable into hemoglobinized erythroblasts cultures containing less 0.002 units erythropoietin/ml regularly detected. 6th patient growth was not seen initial but detected set up peripheral taken 7 months later. The unexplained amplification compartment ability some these to mature vitro virtual absence erythropoietin is at variance anemia characteristic patients. possibility major block level CFU-E. Further studies properties should help provide new insights pathogenesis useful markers monitoring engrafted function after autotransplantation blast crisis.
