摘要: Israel and Pakistan—two major participants in the global organ trade—enacted legislative prohibitions on trade at roughly same time. The article highlights three influences that brought about this change of policy both countries: advocacy by local physicians coupled with media coverage reinforced international medical community. analysis also explains why two countries have differed respect to enforcement organ-trade prohibition. insights from Israeli Pakistani cases will be use for transplant community's efforts against trafficking.
