摘要: A general and efficient method for the coupling of a wide range amides with alkynyl bromides is described here. This novel amidation reaction involves catalytic protocol using copper(II) sulfate-pentahydrate 1,10-phenanthroline to direct sp-C−N bond formation, leading structurally diverse array ynamides including macrocyclic via an intramolecular amidation. Given surging interest in ynamide chemistry, this atom economical synthesis should invoke further attention from synthetic organic community.
